The officers of VFW Post 2562 offer advice and guidance to Veterans who need help in securing benefits to which they are entitled from the federal government. Veterans can obtain this assistance by:

In addition, VFW Post
2562 members visit Veterans in the hospital as well as sick Veterans at home.
The Post supports the Blinded Veterans Association -- The VFW National Home -- the
WWII Memorial -- and the VA Golden Age Team. It helps service people on duty
through contributions to Operation Uplink (telephone calling cards) and the USO.
VFW Post 2562 makes generous contributions to area charities such as:

- NIH Community Service
- Toys For Tots
- Make-A-Wish Foundation
- March of Dimes.
