Who Is Eligible to Join the VFW

To join the VFW, you must . . .

Be a United States citizen who served honorably in the Armed Forces of the United States (or be on active duty) and you must have: 

1. Received a campaign medal for overseas service,

2. Served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea, or

3. Received hostile fire or imminent danger pay.
